RAFAC × National Palace Museum: Where Heritage Meets Motion

Taiwanese sustainable performance brand RAFAC proudly announces its latest collaboration with the National Palace Museum (NPM)—one of the world’s most renowned institutions of Chinese art and culture. Together, they present two new designs that transform ancient masterpieces into contemporary functional wear: “Jade Bixie Amulet” and “Timely Clearing after Snowfall.”

The Jade Bixie Amulet Socks, inspired by a protective jade artifact from the late Western Han to Eastern Han dynasty, reinterpret the mythical creature Bixie—a symbol of courage and good fortune—as a modern talisman for everyday adventures. Crafted with recycled coffee yarn, these socks combine breathable comfort, odor control, and firm arch support—ready to accompany every climb, step, or stride.

The Timely Clearing after Snowfall Socks, inspired by the calligraphy masterpiece by Wang Xizhi of the Jin dynasty, translate the flowing brushstrokes and poetic rhythm of the ancient script into textile form. Each pair embodies the harmony of movement, culture, and design, showcasing how traditional aesthetics can evolve into modern functional art.

Through this cross-disciplinary collaboration, RAFAC and the National Palace Museum invite the world to see cultural heritage not as something distant, but as something we can wear, move with, and live in.
From museum halls to mountain trails, every step becomes part of a living dialogue between history and the present.
